The RRT warehouse in Emu Plains received a phone call from Home in Place Taree, when a sudden fire broke out displacing almost 50 residents.

Our volunteers knew they had to help, so RRT Operations Manager, Michael Dunn, hit the road from our Emu Plains Warehouse to a 3.5hrs commute to Home in Place Taree.

Our volunteers actively packed and loaded 18 RRT Essential Boxes, 18 Food Boxes, 16 blankets, 18 Cookie the Kookaburra plush toys and 64 tuna kits to arrive in Taree by 2.40pm. The residents and staff were grateful for RRT’s commitment and support.

"Home In Place is blown away with the commitment, service, and the generosity we have received today from Rapid Relief team, we can’t thank you enough."
