RRT displays care and compassion to people in crisis, providing free catering assistance and tangible support to emergency services, government and charitable organisations. Everyday in some small way, RRT volunteers lend a helping hand to people in need. Established in 2013 by the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC), RRT is inspired by community spirit and the gift of giving, and is a way for our community to put our faith into action.

Following an early morning request for assistance, RRT Abbotsford rapidly deployed to Boston Bar to support firefighters responding to the Brunswick Creek Fire. Within hours, volunteers delivered bottled water and Frontline Snack Packs while the RRT food services trailer was mobilized to the scene. By that evening, the trailer was serving hot meals to firefighters working extended shifts. Throughout the deployment, RRT provided meals, hydration, and refreshments, helping ensure crews remained fueled and focused as they protected homes, infrastructure, and the local community.
To the firefighters and emergency personnel who worked tirelessly throughout this operation, thank you. Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to protecting lives, homes, and communities is deeply appreciated. It was an honour for RRT to stand alongside you in support of your efforts.

RRT Woodstock was honoured to support the 2026 PTSD First Responders Extended Network Golf Tournament by serving meals to participants throughout the day.
The tournament raises funds for Boots on the Ground, an organization providing an anonymous helpline and peer support for first responders across Ontario. We were grateful to contribute to an event focused on supporting the wellbeing of the people who are there when their communities need them most.

Healthcare workers are there for their communities every day, and earlier this month RRT was honored to give back by serving a staff appreciation meal at Selkirk Regional Health Centre. It was a privilege to recognize the commitment, compassion, and tireless service of those who care for others.
