RRT and Fortem Australia teamed up in Chinchilla and Toowoomba, were emergency service personnel, healthcare professionals and other frontline workers were thanked for their tireless efforts in Chinchilla and Toowoomba over two days in our Thank a Frontline Worker events.

The community honoured the memory of two frontline heroes, and the event highlighted the real dangers law enforcement and frontline workers face each day.

15 volunteers provided a free BBQ lunch, barista coffee and special treats at two events in Chinchilla and Toowoomba, where over 300 first responders and their families stepped out to show their support.

“Fortem Australia’s work involves providing that support to first responders and their families and we are proud to join the Rapid Relief Team in Chinchilla and Toowoomba to remind first responders and their families that there are free services available to them to help them should they need it.”

RRT were specially grateful to meet some of the officers who were on scene last month.

“Rarely do we get the chance to say thank you, so, while only small, we hope these two words backed by a free community day out went a little way to show our appreciation.”

RRT Director, Lester Sharples

First responders are always there when we need them, and RRT were honoured to give back to those who give the most to us.
