RRT Provides Community Connection for Blue Mountains Kids
RRT has brought out its BBQ in support of the Blue Mountains Youth Expos, aimed at getting 12-to-18-year-olds involved in fun, safe activities in their communities.
The Upper and Lower Mountains Youth Expos were organised by the Blue Mountains City Council to showcase the wide range of services and activities available to young people in the area.

“RRT thought this was a fantastic initiative to get Blue Mountains kids aged 12 to 18 involved in fun activities, and to inform them and their families about the support services that are also available in their community.”

RRT was asked to support with the catering and cooked up a free BBQ dinner for everyone who attended. They fired up the grill, and served up almost 300 sausage sandwiches for all who attended.
They supported over two events, held on Wednesday evening in Springwood and the other at Katoomba last week. The events featured interactive stalls and workshops, fencing demonstrations and performances by dance troupes, circus acts and hip-hop artists.

“The Blue Mountains are a great place to live, and events like this showcase what a creative, vibrant, and caring community it is. Seeing so many people out in support of getting their kids engaged, active and involved was really wonderful.”
