June in 60 Seconds!

Welcome to June in 60 Seconds! 

As usual June has been a busy month for the RRT team. This month, 500 volunteers have 11,509 meals at 48 events.

The Felixstowe 999 event drew the local community in to learn about the work of the incredible emergency service teams. The Rapid Relief Team had the privilege of being there to show their appreciation and provide meals to all attending. 

To mark D Day, the residents of Debden came together to celebrate, all whilst enjoying a burger meal served up by the local Thaxted RRT team. 

Liverpool volunteers fueled hungry footballers at the LFC event this month. The refugee tournament brought teams together from all over the country to engage in some friendly competition. RRT supported this event by serving 150 burger meals. 

RRT Shrewsbury supported the ‘Stay Safe event’, where the local emergency services provided activities and advice to the youth about summer safety
