RRT Supports Superhuman 777 Marathon Mission for Bravehearts

Rapid Relief Team (RRT) has again supported the Bravehearts 777 Marathon, as participants complete the superhuman feat of seven marathons in seven states across seven days to raise money for child protection.

RRT volunteers have provided hot breakfasts, barista-brewed coffee and refreshments to participants, support crews, and volunteers ahead of each marathon.

Across the week, participants have run marathons in Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.

RRT Operations Manager Michael Dunn said volunteers are making sure the runners are starting each day with a nutritious meal to fuel their feat.

“The Bravehearts 777 Marathon is truly a remarkable endurance event, and in aid of such an important cause – raising money for child protection, support and education,” said Michael.

“RRT has been supporting the 777 Marathon for a few years now, and we are always blown away by the resilience and stamina of the participants.

“We are pleased to support Bravehearts and commend them for their vital work keeping children safe and educating communities.”

RRT served meals in Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Sydney, Canberra and in Melbourne.

As the charitable arm of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church, RRT supports frontline workers and emergency services by providing food, donations and other resources, as well as hosting events for the community. These efforts reflect the Plymouth Brethren beliefs, which guide members to provide practical support and care for communities in times of need.

Established in 2013 to assist emergency services in times of disaster and crisis by providing meals and other support, it’s expanded to more than 16,500 volunteers and provides support to the community through charitable donations and events.
