Welcome to May in 60 Seconds!

May has been a busy month for RRT, with 275 dedicated volunteers serving 13,056 meals at 35 events.

On May 10th, Bedford Hospital and Luton & Dunstable Hospital celebrated International Nurses Day. RRT had the privilege of showing appreciation to the hard-working nurses by serving over 2,000 burger meals.

The Hospital Hero Hike took walkers on a 23-mile hike from Ipswich Hospital to Colchester Hospital to raise money for staff well-being throughout both hospitals.

Lambeth Palace held an opening day to raise money for the Dame Vera Lyn charity, which supports children with motor learning impairments. RRT Burgess Hill served meals to the garden guests.

On May 24th, the Royal Berkshire Fire Rescue Service conducted a mock terrorist incident training exercise at Legoland to ensure readiness for potential threats.

RRT Volunteers from Glasgow supported the Go Yellow event, where over 15 schools took part in a 5K walk to raise funds for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.
