Welcome to July in 60 Seconds!

As usual July has been a busy month for the RRT team. This month, 849 volunteers have 32,238 meals at 79 events.

As temperatures rose, RRT took to the streets of London, implementing Operation Hydrate to keep the citizens of the capital cool and hydrated.

In Kent, RRT Maidstone served our classic burger meal for students and staff of Five Acre Wood School at their annual Summer Festival, Woodstock, where recipients were letting loose after a hard year’s work.

In Southport, volunteers from RRT Liverpool stepped in to support the police on July 29th, while hospital workers dealing with the recent tragedy also received coffee and doughnuts later that week. Finally, RRT presented a cheque to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. The donation of 5,000 will be used towards the opening of their new A&E wing.

That’s all for this month, see you next month!
