Air Ambulance Northern Ireland Celebrates 7th Anniversary
Air Ambulance Northern Ireland (NI) celebrated their 7th Anniversary on Monday, July 22nd, RRT Belfast had the privilege of assisting them in recognising and supporting The Air Ambulance team and its trustees.
The Northern Ireland Air Ambulance’s unwavering commitment to delivering critical care to individuals in urgent situations, often making a life-saving difference, is a source of pride and inspiration. Their expert medical team responds quickly to emergencies, ensuring patients receive excellent care while making their way to the hospital.
The 7th Anniversary celebration was a special and important event to thank everyone involved for their tireless efforts in helping out the community. Air Ambulance NI is a charity in Northern Ireland that works in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) to provide Helicopter Emergency Medical Services.
It was a great day for a BBQ, with the sun shining as RRT cooked up 30 burger meals for the event. RRT organised the BBQ for our partners at NIAS, the charity team, and the medical crew. Attendees included the local community, supporters, and local officials, all of whom came together to honour the team’s remarkable achievements.
Kerry Andeson, a vital part of the charity team at Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, expressed her gratitude, “ Your support is not just crucial, it’s integral to us. It’s what helps us fly off twice a day on average to a critically ill or injured patient. Your support is what keeps the helicopter flying, and for that, we are immensely grateful. We hope this support continues so we can raise the 2.5 million that’s needed every year to keep the helicopter flying.”
RRT is humbled to support frontline heroes working tirelessly to overcome any emergency situation.
