Five Acre Wood School: RRT Supports Family Fun Day!
Five Acre Wood School is a fantastic special education school that serves kids and young people with profound, severe, and complex learning disabilities.
With friendly and dedicated staff and a lively atmosphere, they’re always working to make the learning environment better. They support SEND publics within mainstream schools through their specialist teachers and offer custom training to promote education and achievement for everyone.
On the 23rd of July, The local Rapid Relief Team (RRT), Maidstone, served 900 Burger meals at the Five Acre Wood School ‘Family Fun Day’ event. Inspired by community spirit and the gift of giving, Five Acre Wood School, the community, and local Rapid Relief volunteers came together to celebrate the school and its students. The event was successful, featuring rock climbing, live music, face painting, and bubbles. The children were happy, and everyone enjoyed coming together for this special occasion.
Tim Williams, Head Teacher, said, “They’re here year after year supporting our community, giving what they can to support us. And as I’ve said, you know, catering for 880 students with profound, severe, and multiple learning difficulties is an amazing feat. So if you’re not already involved with the Rapid Relief team, I strongly advise you to partner with them.”
Five Acre Wood School is an inspiring and safe community where everyone works together to nurture everyone’s potential and celebrate their achievements.
