RRT volunteers provided warm meals to support staff involved in Operation Eagle in the Broxbourne and Wormley area, Operation Barton in Maidstone and Kent Police and Rescue teams as they joined forces to deliver over 20,000 COVID-19 tests in total to local residents. RRT volunteers supported the staff across various locations by serving warm meals and drinks amidst freezing temperatures.

RRT were delighted to support staff who were involved in Operation Barton in Maidstone. RRT provided 550 hot drinks and 330 burger meals which were well-received in challenging weather conditions.

RRT volunteers in Kent were glad to support the Kent Fire & Rescue, Search & Rescue and Kent Police with hot food and refreshments over three days as they carried out the new COVID-19 rapid-testing program in the area.

RRT’s  support was greatly appreciated by all those taking part in this program. Steve, a staff member from the Kent Fire and Rescue team said “The Rapid Relief Team have kept all the staff and crew here well fed and provided warm drinks, in what has been quite challenging conditions for us to work in”.
