US – Chicago Jingle Bell Arthritis Event Supported by RRT
On Saturday, December 12th, 2015 volunteers from the Chicago RRT joined the cause in an event that raised over $180,000.00 for the Arthritis Association. The Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis was a fun and festive way to kick off the holidays by helping others!
The start of the runThe Arthritis Association helps people conquer everyday battles through life-changing information and resources, access to optimal care, advancements in science and a network of community connections. People with Arthritis face unique barriers such as the high cost of treatments, difficulty accessing medications, scarcity of specialists and more. It’s hard for any individual to fight the battle alone, but through their effective and committed advocacy network, the Arthritis Foundation is working to address key issues on both the state and federal levels with lawmakers, insurers and regulators, helping to ease people’s burdens so they can live a full and happy life.

RRT also set up one of their bright red signature tents, which provided the participants with enough water to keep them hydrated throughout the event. It was important that there were enough volunteers to help provide general event information and guidance to the crowds throughout the day.
