RRT Doing it for the Kids this Good Friday
The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) will be serving hot food from sunrise today, supporting the annual Good Friday Appeal to raise funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) in Victoria.
Thirty RRT volunteers will cook around 1,200 meals in the courtyard of RCH Melbourne, making sure kids and families, hospital staff, and other special guests are well-fed throughout the day.

“RRT loves events like the Good Friday Appeal – our volunteers can come along to provide some quality food to all those who are part of the RCH community and assist them in achieving their fundraising goal. We are so happy and humbled to have been part of this event since 2016. RCH has such a significant impact on the lives of kids in our community.”
Melbourne LTL Billy Salisbury said it is the ninth year RRT has supported the Good Friday appeal for RCH.
RRT will be serving hot food from 6am as the Appeal gets underway. Ice cream vans will also be onsite with Border Force Puppies making an appearance for the kids. To make a donation to the Good Friday Appeal please visit www.goodfridayappeal.com.au.
“We are always delighted to have RRT returning each year to support the Good Friday Appeal, the volunteers are always so happy, and of course, everyone loves their delicious food. We couldn’t achieve what we do without the support of organisations like RRT.”
