Wednesday the 18th March dawned a lovely day in Frankston Victoria, not too hot, with a clear blue sky as once again the RRT came together to support the School of Hard Knocks.

In November 2014 the RRT was privileged to assist the Frankston School of Hard Knocks with their work providing social and cultural integration and support to homeless and disadvantaged members of society.  This popular program, involving the formation and coaching of a choir for marginalised members of society, was so successful and in demand, that funding was secured to keep this fantastic initiative running in 2015.

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, as the choir lesson drew to a close, the 38 members assembled outside for a feast.

With hot chicken and salad wraps on the menu, followed by coffee and hot cross buns, the hungry singers tucked in for a well-earned spread.

The RRT is thankful to be able to support the School of Hard Knocks in what they are doing to support the social needs of the disadvantaged in our community.  It is a great cheer to hear that further funding has now been granted to continue this program even further into the future.
