RRT volunteers popped their sneakers on, buckled up their helmets and went for a ride in support of the 1200ks for Kids events, where cyclists ride through the East Coast of Australia to help brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

1200ks for Kids was established by two friends looking for a way to give back to the hospitals that helped their own sick children. RRT volunteers felt the need to support a great cause, and they were involved in events across Toowoomba, Stanthorpe, Armidale, Tamworth, Singleton, Maitland and holding their bicycle breaks to finish off at Newcastle.

RRT fed the hungry riders, and all funds raised went towards paediatric and neonatal equipment for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
