RRT volunteers worked harder than ever before throughout Australia’s catastrophic bushfire season which took the lives of 34 people, burnt 46 million acres of land and destroyed nearly 3,000 homes.

During the constant devastation and loss, emergency services and people affected by the bushfires were met with a smile and served quality food and refreshments, thanks to our dedicated volunteers. 1,125 firetrucks were filled with millions of litres of water and over $200,000 was donated to families who have lost their homes. We appreciate all who serve on the frontline and behind the scenes to aid firefighters battling blazes and assist affected families, none of this would be possible without their support.

From December 2019 to January 2020, 45 Teams across Australia helped share the load of 372 events as we stepped in to support bushfire efforts.
