A Sea of Red Tents as RRT Serve Over 6,000 Meals for Nurses Across Australia
A sea of red tents and dozens of welcoming RRT volunteers showed the power of teamwork when supporting for another year in International Nurses Day events, 12th May 2023!
RRT served over 6,000 meals to Nurses and hospital staff, to acknowledge their selfless efforts and compassionate hearts when assisting the ill everyday.
From the bright smiles of our volunteers, to the tasty RRT signature BBQ lunch, the appreciation from our Nurses created an overall amazing atmosphere.
Serving meals and providing an incredible atmosphere over seven locations, including Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital, Blacktown, Katoomba, Goulburn, William Angliss Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick and Leeton Hospital, the stretch of RRT’s impact reached far and wide.
A huge thank you to all the nurses and hospital staff for their ongoing efforts in providing care and nurturing the ill every day.
