Throwback to When Horton General Hospital A&E Staff Were Celebrated During National Appreciation Week
Back in October, RRT had the privilege of recognising the incredible emergency department team at Horton General Hospital during the UK’s first-ever A&E Appreciation Week, launched by RRT to say a heartfelt thank you to frontline staff for their dedication and service.
On 15th October, our RRT Stow volunteers visited with coffee and cakes, creating a moment for staff to pause, recharge, and feel appreciated for the vital work they do every day.
And it wasn’t just Horton General Hospital! Across the country, RRT hosted more than 100 events, serving over 8,000 coffees and cakes to emergency teams. It was all about showing compassion in action and reminding these heroes how much their efforts mean to us all.
“It was an honour for our team to support Horton General Hospital during A&E Appreciation Week. These frontline professionals work tirelessly to care for our communities, and we were delighted to show our gratitude in a small but meaningful way.”
