September In 60-Seconds

South Wales Police and dive teams from across the UK gathered in Cardiff Bay for a training exercise. The specialists staying sharp, staying ready for when it matters most.

In Portsmouth, 500 families came to the Mountbatten Centre for The Pompey Games — all ages, a city coming together. 332 hot meals served through the afternoon.

At Warwick Hospital, the people who spend every day caring for others got to feel cared for. During staff appreciation week, volunteers served hot meals to the teams who keep the hospital running.

In Chester, Cheshire Police came together to remember PC Steve Powell and mark the opening of their new Police Dog Memorial Wall — a day of reflection, remembrance, and looking out for one another.

That’s September. 86 events. Over 20,000 meals served.
