RRT’s March in 60-Seconds

Posted: April 1, 2026

Hello and welcome to the 60‑second update for March.

This month, RRT volunteers served over 10,000 meals to communities across the UK.

The Construction Community Connect initiative saw action at the Missing Link wellbeing event, where Mates in Mind delivered a mental health awareness presentation whilst RRT Gloucester served 400 drinks to help workers pause and connect.

Next, Doddie’s Triple Crown saw four nations honour rugby legend Doddie Weir, raising funds for motor neurone disease research. RRT Cardiff and Warrenpoint served burger meals to runners as they passed through Wales and Ireland.

Then, Staffordshire Police led a multi‑agency training exercise to boost daily incident preparedness, with RRT supporting the operation by serving burger meals to all 260 participants.

And in Londonderry, families celebrate World Down Syndrome Day with the Foyle Down Syndrome Trust. RRT served 200 gourmet burgers and hot dogs, to make the day welcoming for all who attended.

That’s it for this month — see you next time.
