RRT Yeovil Supports Leonardo Helicopters Police Training Exercise

Posted: May 20, 2026

A recent training exercise at Leonardo Helicopters brought together 75 police officers for a coordinated operational exercise, strengthening readiness and collaboration in complex scenarios. Exercises like this are a vital part of ensuring officers are prepared to respond effectively and safely when real incidents arise.

RRT Yeovil was grateful to support the day, helping to keep officers refreshed and ready throughout the exercise. Volunteers served bacon rolls for breakfast, followed by refreshments and gourmet burger meals for lunch, ensuring those taking part were well supported during the demanding schedule.

“It was a privilege to support the officers taking part in this important training exercise. The level of focus and commitment on display was clear to see, and we were pleased to provide some support to help keep everyone going throughout the day.”

Ralph Barter
