RRT Volunteers Serve Meals to Families at St Paul’s Primary School
St Paul’s Primary School in Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, brought parents and children together on 1st July for a day designed to give families the chance to share a meal and spend time together in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
Now in its third year with RRT’s support, the event has become a highlight in the school’s calendar. By removing the pressure of bringing food, the day opens its doors to every family, creating a shared experience that brings the whole community around the same table.
On the day, RRT Portsmouth volunteers served 540 meals, helping to ensure the focus remained firmly on families enjoying time together.
"Events like this are what community is all about. It was a real privilege to be part of a day that's grown year on year — seeing families come together and share a meal made every moment worthwhile."
