RRT Supports: West Lancs A&E Coffee Morning Event

Posted: January 11, 2025

On January 10th, Merseyside & West Lancashire NHS Trust kicked off the year with their annual Coffee Morning event. This event is designed to welcome back staff and provide them with a boost of support for the year ahead.

The Rapid Relief Team stepped in to support, with local volunteers from Liverpool serving 150 coffees and cakes to the Trust’s staff. This event celebrated the hard work of healthcare professionals and reinforced the community’s appreciation for their unwavering commitment.

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust serves a population of over 600,000 with a team of around 9,000 staff. Delivering a wide range of care, the Trust operates across various settings, including hospitals, community locations, and patients’ own homes. Guided by a strong commitment to supporting communities, the Trust prioritises providing compassionate and comprehensive care.

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) is proud to support the Trust once again this year, demonstrating gratitude and appreciation for the dedication and hard work the staff tirelessly provide to their patients and the community year after year.
