RRT Partners with CEO Sleepout for Another Year of Support

On November 19th, RRT Volunteers from Darlington came together early in the morning to collaborate with CEO Sleepout again. Their efforts aimed to raise awareness about homelessness while providing breakfast and hot drinks at the CEO Sleepout event.

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) has proudly partnered with CEO Sleepout since 2018, actively supporting this impactful initiative. By serving breakfast and helping to raise awareness and funds, RRT contributes to CEO Sleepout’s mission of uniting businesses and individuals from all walks of life to combat homelessness. While participants spend just one night under the stars and in the cold, these events emphasise the relentless daily struggles faced by those experiencing homelessness, particularly during the harsh winter months.

When participants woke up, RRT worked hard, grilling 50 bacon rolls and serving hot drinks to help beat the winter chill. Unfortunately, those experiencing homelessness do not have access to these comforts. The participants’ willingness to step out of their busy schedules and face just a fraction of these challenges demonstrates their commitment to raising funds and awareness for this vital cause.

RRT was proud to support such an important event and will continue to do so. Led by the Christian principles of care and compassion, RRT’s army of volunteers operates from the heart and lends a helping hand to those in need.
