RRT Middlesborough support RNLI Open Day in Staithes

On July 9th, the RNLI Staithes lifeboat station opened its doors to the public, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at the vital work carried out by one of the UK’s most dedicated volunteer lifeboat crews.

From storm callouts to swift water rescues, the RNLI team regularly faces some of the country’s most challenging sea conditions—all in the name of saving lives.

The Open Day gave visitors a chance to learn more about their operations, equipment, and the incredible commitment of the volunteers who serve their community.
