Welcome to the 60-second video for March!
In Bristol, volunteers supported the LifeSkills25 showcase at the Bristol Centre, which highlighted the importance of early intervention in knife crime prevention and the life-saving role of bleed kits. RRT provided BBQ meals for attendees.
In Stamford, the Leicestershire Local Resilience Forum brought together emergency services to focus on preparedness and collaboration. RRT Stamford provided freshly grilled burgers, ensuring everyone stayed fuelled throughout the day.
RRT Portsmouth, with support from a recent local council grant, delivered 400 Food Boxes in a single day to families and communities in need. This initiative benefited 18 schools and charities across the city.
The Swansea RRT team partnered with emergency teams from the Mountain Rescue Team, the RAF, and the police to support their large-scale training exercise.
Finally, Stansted Airport hosted a resilience roadshow designed to bring the airport community together to learn, grow, and enhance staff skills. RRT volunteers from Chelmsford, Colchester, and Thaxted served over 2,000 meals through the 3-day event.
That’s it for this month—see you next time!
