Leeds Comes Together for a Day of Giving

Posted: March 6, 2025

Leeds Civic Hall was full of energy and goodwill on February 27th as the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Abigail Marshall Katung, joined forces with her team to support her chosen charity, the Leeds Community Foundation. The event brought together a diverse mix of people—school children, students, teachers, councillors, and hospital staff—all united by a shared purpose: to give back to the community.

The Leeds Community Foundation plays a vital role in funding local projects and initiatives that address social issues and improve the lives of many in the city. Events like this highlight the power of collective effort in making a meaningful impact.

Volunteers from across RRT Leeds worked to serve up burger meals accompanied by a variety of hot and cold drinks. RRT was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for their work in supporting this event, but also their contribution to the local community. Well done, RRT Leeds!
