July 2025 in 60 Seconds!

Posted: August 1, 2025

Welcome to the 60-second video for July. Where 745 RRT volunteers brought hope and relief to those in need.

In Horsham, RRT supported the Founders Day event at St Catherine’s Hospice and served 200 burger meals to attendees during the afternoon.

Over in Worcester, NHS staff, friends, and family enjoyed the lively ‘It’s a Knockout’ event, where our volunteers served burger meals during the NHS friendly competition.

Next, RRT supported a live train accident simulation run by Greater Anglia in Norwich by serving 140 burger meals to those participating from emergency services and the Norfolk Resilience Forum.

At Bishop Stortford, 14 RRT Thaxted volunteers served 600 meals to attendees at the Fire Station Open Day. The event welcomed families for a day of fire engine tours, safety demonstrations, and support of the firefighters.

Finally, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice held its annual Dragon Boat Race at Manvers Lake to raise vital funds for its work. RRT Doncaster served burger meals to 1,000 attendees.

That’s it for this month – See you next time!
