RRT Visits Ronald McDonald House Charities Cardiff
On 8th February, RRT volunteers from Cardiff spent the day at the Ronald McDonald House in Cardiff taking the time to deliver and set up the newly gifted garden furniture from RRT!
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provide a free ‘home away from home’ for families with a child in hospital, helping keep them together during these tough experiences. Their vision is for every child in hospital to have their families close by, and to ensure families are fully supported in their Houses and remain actively involved in their child’s care.
As part of RRT’s campaign, volunteers from Cardiff wanted to gift something special to the House by donating garden furniture to enhance the outdoor area where families can unwind, while they are going through difficult times with their child in Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital.
RRT is glad to support the Houses by gifting Care Kits, Snack Packs and the iconic Food Boxes to the 14 Houses across the UK as part of our national campaign. So far, RRT have donated over 5,300 Snack Packs, 2,600 Care Kits from Edinburgh to Southampton.
RRT delivers compassion in action, and we look forward to continuing this impactful campaign throughout the rest of 2023!
