RRT Hertford Supports the St. Elizabeth’s Christmas Bazaar

On Saturday 30 November, external stallholders sold their homemade arts & crafts, goodies and unique Christmas gifts, at the St Elizabeth’s Christmas Bazaar. It was their most exciting year yet, and they raised an incredible amount of £10,007! £1,880 more than last year!
RRT Hertford was very pleased to support the excellent work of the centre, and the difference they make, and the relief they bring to people’s lives. A BBQ lunch was provided, with a gourmet burger meal, for over 350 persons. All funds were donated to the Centre to assist in the day to day running of the facility.

St Elizabeth’s
St Elizabeth is the only national charity
supporting children and adults of all ages. It costs over £20 million a
year to provide full educational, medical, therapeutic, leisure and home-care
support for their residents and learners.
The charity was previously one of the charitable
works of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross of Liège, founded in
1833 in Belgium. St Elizabeth’s in Hertfordshire have passionately cared
for over 240 people with complex epilepsy, the severity of which impacts upon
their health, social behaviour, learning and emotional development.
