October in 60 Seconds!
Welcome to the 60-second video for October. This month was another busy month for RRT; 492 volunteers served 11,306 meals at 50 events.
In Doncaster, volunteers supported the Doncaster Acts of Kindness Day, during which NHS staff promoted flu vaccination among healthcare workers to help protect nurses during flu season.
At the Tunbridge Wells Fundraising Day, RRT volunteers served 300 burger meals. It was a lively day with abseiling for a cause, bringing together NHS staff and families to support the event.
World Mental Health Week was an essential focus in the UK, and RRT partnered with the Lighthouse Club to support a mental health event at Hinkley Point in Taunton, Somerset. Our Taunton team served over 1,000 coffees and Krispy Kreme doughnuts to construction workers to help raise mental health awareness within the industry.
In London, RRT supported a training event at Stansted Airport, serving 150 burger and sausage meals to fuel participants during this critical training exercise.
Finally, RRT Winchester participated in the Winchester Boaz Family Fun Day, serving 250 meals.
It was wonderful to see families enjoying the day, which included a charity fun day and a trail run to raise funds for the Boaz Project.
That’s it for this month—thanks for watching!
