RRT Volunteers Unite Across Australia for R U OK? Day

RRT volunteers have prepared and served more than 6,700 meals across 22 locations in Australia as part of R U OK? Day 2026.

R U OK? Day is an annual reminder to check in with the people around us and start meaningful conversations about connection, wellbeing and support.

Over three days, RRT volunteers worked alongside schools, hospitals, emergency services and community organisations to support local R U OK? Day events and activities.

The events brought people together over a shared meal, creating opportunities to connect and have meaningful conversations about wellbeing and looking out for one another.

RRT volunteers served meals and refreshments to people across a range of community events, helping create welcoming spaces where people could take a break, connect with others and enjoy time together.

As the charitable arm of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church, RRT supports frontline workers and emergency services by providing food, donations and other resources, as well as hosting events for the community. This practical approach to supporting communities reflects the Plymouth Brethren beliefs, which include a focus on service, generosity and caring for others.

Established in 2013 to assist emergency services in times of disaster and crisis by providing meals and other support, it’s expanded to more than 16,000 volunteers and provides support to the community through charitable donations and events.
