DE – RRT Germany & the Sport Event for Downs!

On your marks, get set… live!

This is the motto of the German Sport Event for Downs, which takes place in Frankfurt once a year. This year RRT Siegen & Endbach had the privilege of participating in and supporting this event.

A total of 4000 visitors took part, 800 of them with Down’s syndrome, who attended exciting competitions during the day, e.g. sprinting or long jumping.

RRT supported this event by providing food for the 400 volunteers of this event – including the police, security forces and first aiders.

Our professional teamwork in distributing the much sought-after burgers was praised with many positive comments;

“This is going like clockwork here!”

600 burgers, 550 coffees and 700 water bottles were distributed during breakfast and lunch and disappeared in no time!

It was an honour for us to be able to help on this special day and to recognize how much joy the participants had at the competitions, where we were allowed to join in the excitement.

We are eagerly awaiting the year 2019 and hope to be able to participate in this event again.
