On Thursday 3rd December 2015 the Rapid Relief Team assisted with the Walk with Me Perth CEO Challenge. Walk with Me Perth engages the Perth business community to raise awareness and vital funds for people living with disability, and promote diversity in the workplace.

Rocky Bay ambassadors teamed up with CEOs from some of Perth’s leading businesses to raise funds leading up to the event, visiting their workforces to share their story, raise awareness and break down barriers to promote their abilities, rather than their disability.

100% of the funds that were raised went towards Rocky Bay Assistive Technology projects to improve the independence of people living with disability.

The event was held at the Perth City Government House Gardens and was run by Rocky Bay. It began with a short walk, followed by a CEO Challenge at Government House Gardens during lunchtime.

RRT supported this event by donating and cooking 500 hamburgers and salad rolls which were served with soft drink, juice, tea/coffee and sweets. RRT also donated all the water for this event.

It was an enjoyable day, and RRT were very happy to be involved in support of this charity’s worth cause.
