Whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you may be doing……

Stop, take a moment to think and be thankful for something – your job, your home, the food you eat, the fresh water you drink, a warm bed on a winter’s night or an air-conditioned room on a summer’s day.

Almost 6,000 people in South Australia alone, face homelessness every year. They have very little to live off. Food is a luxury.

Over 100 hamburgers were donated and served by RRT to those in need at the Uniting Care Wesley Port Adelaide (UCWPA) on the 23rd of February 2016.

Each month the UCWPA hold meetings to help people facing life challenges which include poverty, community disadvantage, mental illness, social isolation, unemployment, inadequate housing, homelessness and financial distress.

This is an outstanding service provided in which the UCWPA aim to build stronger communities throughout SA and assist people in need to overcome barriers so that they can live their lives to the fullest.
