AU – RRT Tamworth & the Festival of Abilities provide support for the disabled July 2016

The Tamworth ‘Festival of Abilities’ is run to showcase the wide variety of opportunity that is available in the area for all ages and ‘abilities’ – allowing people to build common interests.

It’s a day run by Pathfinders, an ability linkers program where trained staff work closely together with people with disability, their families and carers to support their dreams.

Several activities were run on the day including arts and craft, wheelchair basketball, musical and performance arts and cultural groups.

RRT Tamworth supported the 2016 Festival of Abilities on Saturday 9th July by providing all who attended the day with sausages in bread along with a selection of water and soft drinks. Trays were handed around the different groups for those who were unable to find the RRT marquee.
