On Thursday, 1st October 2015, Wagga Wagga City Council, in country New South Wales, once again hosted their annual Little Big Day Out event showcasing their services. This free community event was packed with activities for children aged 2-12 years and was hosted in the Civic Centre Precinct. The event finished at midday, but with such beautiful weather, many wished it continued well into the afternoon.
Setup started at 7 o’clock ready for a 9 o’clock opening The day was well attended with over 5000 coming to the eventWith so many little children all with beaming smiles, the Council proved again they had the right formula to make this day a success. It’s clear the water balls from the local Oasis Aquatic Centre were the most popular activity along with the performances by Heidi Hoops, Benny B and Tina Green. Check out the video of their gymnastic skills and tricks!
There were many things to see and do by all Many stopped at the RRT setup for refreshmentsChildren could design their own playground, buy fairy floss, ice cream or icy cold slushies and join in the Amazing Planning Permit Pursuit Competition for their chance to win a prize at the conclusion of the event.
