Delivering a ‘Thank You in Action’ to Camden SES
PRESS RELEASE
Mon, 27 July 2026
The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) has shown its appreciation to SES volunteers by providing a barbecue dinner ahead of their regular training at Camden.
It is part of RRT’s Thank You in Action initiative, which is aimed at recognising the dedication of emergency service volunteers.
Local Team Leader Nathan Wilson said RRT volunteers served about 80 meals at the event.
“This dinner was a way for Rapid Relief Team to show our State Emergency Services volunteers how much we appreciate the time they dedicate to their community,” said Nathan.
“RRT is always ready to support the SES by providing meals and refreshments during emergency situations or other community events.
“This is our way of giving back to those who do so much to serve others.”
As the charitable arm of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church, RRT supports frontline workers and emergency services by providing food, donations and other resources, as well as hosting events for the community. These efforts reflect the Plymouth Brethren beliefs, which encourage practical service, generosity and care for others.
Established in 2013 to assist emergency services in times of disaster and crisis by providing meals and other support, it’s expanded to more than 16,500 volunteers and provides support to the community through charitable donations and events.
