RRT Donates COVID-19 Relief Food Boxes To Rainier Food Bank On March 26

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) have stepped in to support those affected by the recent Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak by establishing emergency food-banks through their existing Food Box initiative for those who have been impacted by COVID-19.

• Front-Line Healthcare Workers
• Student Food Insecurity
• Individuals and Families who are in Self Isolation
• Families laid off from work as a result of COVID-19

Over the past couple of weeks, RRT have been working with the King County Department of Emergency Management, and other government agencies, to supply up to 525 Food Boxes / 7,875 meals, to families in quarantine in the greater Seattle, Washington area.

RRT does have a plan in place to ramp this up nationally if we can get adequate funding. The food boxes come at an extensive cost, and RRT is currently searching for persons to become a sponsor of our Food Box Initiative. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE FOOD BOX INITIATIVE
