Taranaki Search and Rescue volunteers provide vital search and rescue support across the region and regularly take part in training exercises to keep their skills sharp.

During the Dawson Falls SAREX training event on 16–17 May, RRT helped keep the team fuelled, serving 50 Signature Burgers on Saturday and providing 40 pies and filled rolls on Sunday. Thanks to Taranaki SAR for having us along and for the work you do in our communities. šŸššŸ”

Taranaki Search and

52,000 moments of joy. 100 healthcare events. 10 countries. One purpose.

Throughout May and early June, RRT volunteers around the world came together to recognise the nurses, midwives and healthcare workers who care for our communities every day on #InternationalNursesDay.

From hospital entrances to staff break rooms, volunteers served hot meals, fresh coffee and plenty of appreciation to those who spend their lives caring for others.

To every RRT volunteer who made these events possible, and to every healthcare worker who stopped by, thank you.

Here are some highlights from around the globe!

Whakamaru School is a small rural school supporting local tamariki and whānau, including students who need extra support to access their learning. Through the school's Learning Support Coordinator, a need was identified for additional support around personal hygiene and self-care for a group of senior students.

RRT was glad to provide 30 FreshStarrt Care Kits to help meet that need and support the work being done by the school staff.
