To facilitate our Safe Working Policy, RRT has implemented a Work, Health and Safety system that conforms to the requirements of Australian Standard AS4801:2008 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Our risk based approach to safety management, and focus on comprehensive induction and training of our teams ensures the welfare of our volunteers.

True to our name, the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) rapidly responded to some of humankind’s greatest challenges across the globe in 2019, and as always, our volunteers continued to serve from the heart, leaving a lasting impression on people in crisis.

Connecting through crisis, the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) remained committed to our mission in 2020 to serve people with care and compassion in their time of need. A year of global transformation, uncertainty, and unprecedented change, RRT adapted our benevolent services to meet the need at hand.

RRT’s 2021 Global Annual Review illustrates how RRT volunteers turned their compassion into action and served people in their time of need. In a year characterised by COVID-19 restrictions and devastating disasters, RRT’s support was called on more than ever before.

Spanning 14 countries and supported by 14,500 volunteers, RRT is dedicated to giving back to the communities where we live and work. Our actions are as varied as the communities we serve. From delivering Food Boxes to displaced Ukrainian refugees to providing hot meals and refreshments to frontline crews defending communities against natural disasters.

Ten years and counting, the 2023 Global RRT Annual Review reflects on the efforts demonstrated by 14,500 volunteers across 14 countries, and how we continue to express our values of care and compassion into the next decade and beyond.
