Food Box
Working with people in crisis is at the heart of what we do at the Rapid Relief Team (RRT), and in 2019 we launched an innovative initiative, RRT Food Boxes, to provide immediate relief when it is needed most.
After wanting to do more for families and individuals affected by domestic violence, RRT designed the Food Box to act as an emergency food bank for people and families in need, and now supports people from low socio-economic backgrounds, and those in crisis.
The RRT Food Box comes in two different sizes, and contains a variety of non-perishable, long-life food.
The families who have received the RRT Food Box have been really grateful and relieved... Thank you for continuing to provide us with these Food Boxes, they have truly been a lifeline to some of the families we work with.”
