RRT Welcomes A Flight Of Ukrainians In Winnipeg

In May, RRT teamed up with the Government of Canada to welcome a flight of 349 Ukrainians, arriving directly from Warsaw. As the Manitoba Government organized hotel accommodation and transport for the inbound passengers, RRT was busy supporting Ukrainians with some of our core products. RRT volunteers were more than happy to assist, leaping into action to assemble the Comfort Snack Packs and Care Kits to gift after their long flight, providing immediate relief and resources to help them settle into Canada.

RRT was humbled to lend a helping hand, gifting 232 Comfort Snack Packs, 229 Care Kits, 13 Baby Care Kits and 84 Cookie the Kookaburra toys to bring a smile to the children’s faces and a little joy at the end of a very long journey.
