Voluntary Firemen arrive at the scene.

A Voluntary Fire Brigade from a nearby town was quickly on the scene. The  Rapid Relief Team  soon realised the need for help, when the hoses began bursting from the heat of the scorched ground. They began helping by holding the hoses off the ground, then assisted with the lighting of a ‘fire break’ around the edge of the area.
